Chuck is hard headed and much more cynical about life and his career in general. When he started his career he was never intimidated at homicide scenes and slowly worked his way up by being aggressive and consistently giving the other detectives valuable information. He was a former college baseball player. He also has a wife and son and coaches his son’s farm team. He’s a sharp dresser, which you wouldn’t expect, and always has a dry-cleaned suit with matching tie.
